It’s been snowing off and on all day and there’s finally a light covering on the ground. The forecasts are still abiguous, calling for anywhere between three inches to a foot overnight. The snow will supposedly continue all through tomorrow and won’t cease until Tuesday morning. Some people are claiming it will be bigger than the “Storm of The Century,” also knows as the “Blizzard of ’96.” During that snow storm, I ended up stranded at a house of someone with whome I wasn’t really close friends. If I am stranded tomorrow, it will most likely be myself, stuck in my apartment.
Yeah….Storm of the Century…well, of course. The century just started. Not too hard to top the winter of 2000….sheesh!
And if you get stuck and bored, the pimp van will come and rescue you. 🙂
Hmmm…let’s see…Blizzard of ’96. That would be the one I tried to fly to London in the middle of. Yeah, that worked out well.
i wish i could get stuck at home… but unfortunately i think my work expects me no matter what 🙁
and by the way…. how come it doesn’t “remember me” anymore…. i don’t want to have to type out my name everytime….
Give me what I want…and I’ll go away…
Stacey, you have stupid work. 🙂 Of course, right now it’s doing NOTHING outside, so I’m feeling stupid for not being at work. Oh well….
Is that a promise, M-D? 🙂
Now Spike, let’s be nice…. 😉
I was getting kind of cranky that I had to come in to work this morning, especially since no one else came in, but my boss just called and said I can go home whenever I want. Which be oh, say… now.
Whiney Americans!! 🙂 We Canadians love the snow. Why we were almost rid of it and then it comes down and dumps on us again. I’m being rather sarcastic here. 🙂 I miss the spring!
well after 5 hours on trains i went to and from nyc minus the work part…
it was so hard to get from newark to nyc that my boss said i could go back home.
hopefully it will be better tomorrow.
