Saw the movie, wasn’t what I expected. Tired now.
I’m On TV
Make sure you wake up early and watch the NBC Today Show on Monday morning, June 12th. We put together a group of 500 musicians, including [DELETED] to perform the opening theme and a song at the end of the show. I’ll be there getting people organized as well as video taping the event for our archives with the new Digital Handycam that was donated to us by Sony. Make sure you’re watching so you don’t miss seeing me on TV…
Only bad part is I’ll need to be in The City at 4:30 a.m. Looks like I won’t be going to sleep Sunday night…

Speaking of Quicktime, did you know that if you hold down Shift and double-click on the video, it will play the video from that point backwards, including sound? It’s sort of entertaining watching those wolves run backwards.

Rainy Tuesday
I have mixed feelings about the rain. I woke up to the sound of raindrops. (Of course, not to the sound of my multiple alarm clocks. That never happens.) I never like awakening to rain on a day I can’t sleep in and enjoy it.
Off to work I go, driving in the traffic and the rain. If there’s something less enjoyable than waking up to rain on a work day, that would be it. (But there’s not.) Visibility’s bad, I can’t go my normal 90 miles an hour without sliding a little.
When I got to work finally, all of the parking spaces were taken, so I had to drive down the block to the Grand Union and park there, and walk the rest of the way — in the rain. I was decidedly unhappy as I started walking, but a few minutes into the trip to my office, I realized that if I just enjoy the rain I’d feel much better. So for the rest of my walk to the municipal building where the [DELETED] offices are, I enjoyed the rain. I just wish the rain didn’t make me wet and soggy.

DISCO FUNKY!
Here are some disco funky pictures from this weekend. We have Alissa at the Appel Farm Music Fest, Stacey — the birthday girl — at Dave & Busters, and Jen — Stacey’s future roommate — at the same place.
Alright, so maybe they’re not so much disco funky.

PICKING APPELS
This weekend I went to the Appel Farm Folk Music and Art Fest in Really South Jersey. It was located in a town called Elmer, which as it happens is not so far from Cowtown, NJ, where they have rodeos apparently.
In any case, there was a lot of good music there, including the wonderful Moxy Früvous. I also heard someone called David Gray who was pretty good, as well as Richard Thompson and Mary Chapin Carpenter. By 7:00 p.m., the little kids at the festival were starting to get restless, and we couldn’t even hear the singers from where we were sitting. We decided at that point it was time to leave.
Today I went shopping for a suit. I desparately needed a suit in general, but with Robert‘s wedding coming up, I really needed to take care of that. I ended up spending close to six hundred dollars on the total package. I wish I had the money…
