NaSoAlMo

It’s possible you’ve heard of NaNoWriMo, the National Novel Writing Month. A group of people have decided that it would be fun for each of them to write a novel of at least 50,000 words in the 30 days of November. Now someone has thought of NaSoAlMo, National Solo Album Month. The idea would be to write, perform, and record a complete solo album throughout the same month. I should do this. I really should. I have enough equipment to do it. I just don’t know if I have enough time.

By the way, I voted this morning. This is how CNN plans on analyzing poll results and early vote counts in order to project a winner.

A Reggae Tribute to Amazon.com

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. It’s great to come home to a new CD in the mail. I will have to spread the goodness.

In celebration of the collection of music on my hard drive, I’m now streaming everything randomly. Check the link on my sidebar for My SHOUTcast Station. The link should work until my IP changes, anyway. You may have to load this link directly into your MP3 player (WinAMP, Windows Media Player, iTunes, etc.) if the program is not associated with your browser. I should have enough music to provide hours of entertainment, so I’ll just leave it online twenty-four hours a day. Maybe I’ll be able to listen from work.

UPDATE: I changed the link to use my web server as a repeater, so now I don’t have to worry so much about connecting to my home computer which didn’t seem to work from my office.
