FUN FUN FUN
I wish I had more time in my life to play games. Stacey introduced me to a Boggle clone on PlaySite.com and I might just become addicted if I’m not careful.

DOES IT EXIST?
In my left hand, I hold two Extra Strength Tylenol caplets. In my right, two CVS-brand extra strength non-aspirin pain reliever. Each hand contains 1000 mg of acetaminophen. Each hand contains the same exact chemicals as the other hand. One would think that they work exactly the same in my body. But the CVS brand caplets don’t work for me. Is there such thing as a reverse placebo effect?

AAARGH!
I’ve had Pisco Bandito in my head all day. (The song, not the fish.)
Whew!
Well, it’s over — done with.
I stayed awake all night. Bryan, who decided to go with me, took a nap. I woke him up at about 2:15 a.m. (he overslept) so we could leave by 2:45. We got to the meeting place at about 3:45 (not bad time — it helps when there are no other cars on the road). After some hassling with several parking garages, we stood outside on the streets of New York for a while.
Eventually, my co-workers showed up and Bryan left to find a spot for maximum visibility in the Today Show crowd. I started welcoming all the high school students when they arrived. A little after 6:00, the rehearsals started. During the day I met some nice people who worked for VH-1 as well as some other nice people who worked for the Today Show. In making these friends, one of the producers of the Today show said she would guarantee that Bryan’s sign gets on TV. (Something about a contest…)
Around 7:00 am, the program started the live broadcast. The show opened with a close-up of Bryan with his sign. Amazing! Later, [DELETED]. After the ending of the show, the students from the different schools left to go on their own tours of the city, or whatever else they had planned for the day.
Meanwhile, I went back to my office, where I am now attempting to work. I’m finding it fairly difficult to stay awake. I think I might sleep well tonight — in such a way that I haven’t slept for maybe almost a year.
Pictures Or Not?
Alissa doesn’t like the pictures I added to my left side bar. Do you agree? Let your opinion be known to me, mail me.

DON’T FORGET!
In five and a half hours, my groups will be performing on the Today show! First at 7:00 am and then at 8:45 am. So check out NBC this morning! You might also see another blogger on the air…
IT’S ALL SO CLEAR NOW
IT’S ALL SO CLEAR NOW
While I lay in bed this morning, I thought about a few things. I feeel the best about myself when I am surrounded by positive energy. Years ago, when I was in high school, almost all of the energy around me was positive. My closest friends in college were different. Whenever I didn’t meet someone’s expectations, communication was filled with negative energy. I’m not saying I didn’t have flaws when I was in high school, I’m just saying they were dealt with in a different manner.
I still have a lot of negative energy in my life from multiple sources. I need to find a way to take that negative energy and change it to positive energy. It’s not going to change at the source, so I have to discover how to manipulate the aura and change it to something that will help me instead of hurt me.

This “ad” remids me of my brother — years ago, anyway…
IT WAS FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING
IT WAS FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING
When I lived in an apartment in Delaware while teaching, I had some neighbors upstairs who used to keep me up late at night. And during the day, sometimes. I thought it was pretty bad — until I came across this guy. (Warning — don’t click on that link without expecting to read about sex.) It turns out I didn’t have it too bad after all.
