At work I have one of those hydraulic Fabric Chairs from Staples. Throughout the day I, it seems as if my computer monitor is getting shorter and shorter. However, that is probably not the case. For some reason, my chair slowly raises itself throughout the day. By the mid afternoon, my knees are almost on top of my desk. My the time I leave, the top of my head is brushing against the ceiling. Something has got to be done about this chair, though it is rather comfortable…
Oh, I know all about what it’s like to not have your feet touch the floor. And I don’t have any hydraulic whatchamajiggies.
I have enough trouble getting my feet to touch the floor while I am standing.
You must have really low ceilings…
I just bought a chair at Staples today and lugged the thing in my car back to my office, only to discover that when I sat in it, it didn’t feel like the one I sat in when I was actually in the store. Grr. And one of the adjustment knobs is broken. Now I’m going to have to cram the thing back into my car on Monday and return it. Grr….
