I ate lunch at Blimpies today. Usually I take my food back to the office to eat, but I decided to slow down and eat there. Across on of the wall of the restaurant is drawn a picture showing all different kinds of people (for example, The Businessman, The Punk, The Old Woman, The Toddlers, The Bikers and The Tourists) sitting down and enjoying their subs, just like I was at that very moment. The Tourist had stickers all over himself and his belongings naming all the places he has supposedly been to. He was even reading a map of Idaho (or some similar state that may not even exist). What struck me as odd was the sticker with the words Niagra Falls. I mean, there I was in a fine, classy establishment, and they went ahead and drew — and misspelled words — all over the walls. Now I guess I would expect that from a dirty fast food joint, such as Sparks Steak House, but not from an upscale place like Blimpies. It seems I will have to take my business to Burger King from now on.
