The past few days I’ve seen interesting things on the Turnpike on the way to work. Yesterday, about 50 PSEG utility vehicles were parked along the shoulder of the Western Spur. Further north, by the 18W toll booth, a trailer of a large eighteen-wheeler was on fire, and firetrucks were approaching the opposite way through the toll booths. This morning, southbound and northbound traffic was held up by a MediVac helicopter that was landing and taking off after what looked to be a minor accident in the southbound car and truck lanes by exit 13A.
