Fun Fun Fun

Alright people, I just had a frickin’ awesome night. Here, I’ll tell you about it.

So Darren called me up and said, “Come on over, Ali’s making tacos.” So I did. We ate our tacos. We decided we wanted to wach the movie, American Pie, since I hadn’t seen it yet. We drove to West Coast Video, where at the counter, I almost whipped out my Blockbuster card. How foolish. We went back to their place and watched the movie. It was really funny… Especially the whole band camp thing. But anyway, we watched the movie and decided we needed ice cream. So we walked on over to the Halo Pub in Princeton. As we got in line, the four high school seniors (as we found out later) asked us if they could interview us for class, about Shakespeare. I said, sure, why not? So they asked me some Shakespeare questions, it was pretty cool.

So we decided to walk around Princeton with our ice cream. We ventured on to campus and walked around past all the dorms… eventually we came to an archway with a bunch of people hanging around. I told Darren, let’s walk through this bunch of people. He didn’t have any problems with that, so we did. But as we got through, we heard a girl pull out a pitch-pipe and start tuning people, and they were starting to get in an arc. I told Darren to wait because they were about to sing… So we stayed for the entire concert. It was the Princeton University Wildcats (all-girl a cappella choir) and the Carnegie Mellon University Originals.

It was nice walking around Princeton and realizing there is actually stuff to do around where we live… nice little restaurants, little bars with live music. I think I’l be spending some more time there in the future.
