Not Keeping Up

I started the next class for my MBA last week: statistics. Wonderfully enjoyable. I wouldn’t be doing it if my company didn’t pay for 90% of it.

What should I be doing instead? Something else. I’m in need of a calling. Sometimes, however, I’m torn between the thought of a “calling” and the thought of “having enough money to sustain myself.” People around me everywhere are either finding their calling or buying property.

And here I am. Hi. I’m in a crappy apartment in which I pour money month after month and working at an uninteresting job that makes use of none of my skills.

I don’t want to go back to teaching, at least not in a school. I would like to run an organization like the one where I used to work. Maybe that’s my calling. I don’t see how that would be a possibility.

  1. If you find your calling, you’ll find a way to make the financial side work for you.
