Okay, Darren brought this up, and Bryan continued with it, and I’m going to try to organize things and possibly reach a wider audience.
We are putting together a CD mix exchange and we’re looking for participants. There will be a theme and everyone will create their own CD compilation based on that theme. After a set amount of time, each participant will share their mix with the other particiants and a new theme will be determined.
If you’d like to participate, simply post a comment here, and people who do not blog are certainly free to participate as well. Also, do we think two weeks is a good time frame for a theme? Now accepting suggestions.
If there are enough people interested (say, at least five, based on Bryan’s suggestion), I’ll make a website for this project over the weekend.

Well, I wrote down the list of ideas that people have given so far, and I’m currently working on your “Mundane Activities” idea. I don’t know when/if I’ll finish.

huh. well im all about making people a cd of stuff that doesnt suck, but i dont have a theme other than “stuff that doesnt suck” so. yeah.
With mid-terms coming up, I really don’t have time to participate in something like this. However, anyone willing to send me a copy of their mixes, I’d be more then happy to receive them! I need some new music terribly!

I still have the case for the CD that Michelle made me called “Stuff that Doesn’t Suck,” even though the CD itself is missing, because plaid is cool.
More importantly, is this going to involve shipping packages? I don’t know that I can trust myself with that kind of responsibility.
I would say that posting MP3s would be a better way to go. Didn’t get the website up this weekend, that’ll probably happen during the week…
