Don’t they know I have somewhere important to be? What the hell are “modified regular schedules?” Are the trains running normally or not? I called customer service earlier to find out. The incredibly helpful individual said that he has no idea what today’s train schedule is, but he’s expecting updated information any minute now, “In fact, it is overdue.” I tell him I’ll call back in fifteen minutes, which he says is fine. I call back in fifteen minutes and surprise! The customer service office closed at 5:00 pm.
I won’t find out if there’s a train to take me where I need to go until I actually get to the station. Aren’t we supposed to be living in the future? On that same note, NJ Transit sends a text message to my phone to alert me when there are delays on my line. That’s great in theory. It would be better if they didn’t wait an hour between the time they post a “travel advisory” and the time they bother sending the message out.
Alright, enough ranting on my part.
i agree completely with your rant! last night i waited 30 min for a delayed train, then it took 1 hr to go what normally takes 30 minutes. this morning i got to the station to hear that my train had been canceled. i had to wait another 25 min for a train, getting me to work late. ugh. luckily i had some proofreading to do. wonder what the ride home will bring…
NJ Transit fucked over the mrs. the last few days tood.
