A story in the New York Post announces that Soup Kitchen International, otherwise known as the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld, is opening its first franchise in my neck of the woods. The opening will be followed by 200 more shops in the next year.

I saw the same article – I’m curious to know where, exactly, he plans to open (ie: will it be in Princeton “proper”, where I’m sure he’d be popular with the college crowd, or will it be in one of the shopping centers, where he might draw more lunch traffic from the working schmucks like me). The article doesn’t say, and his website only mentioned ‘franchise opportunities’, but not the locations.
You saw the same article because I sent that article to you both as well as to a few others. I’m very excited about this. Hilary has been to the NYC shop and has raved about the soup so being the soup fanatic that I am, I’m looking forward to going there myself.
