The carpet was fine when we went to check on him on Wednesday…although he had kicked a lot of litter out of his box and hid from us (first in the bathtub, then under the sofa). We tried playing with him, but he just wasn’t interested.

Heh. When I was cat sitting for a few days, he left me a sweet barf puddle under the table. But Darren told me that he also left a nice pile of shit in the living room. I missed that one. Looks like Rupert is a stealth-barfer/crapper.
