Britney Spears (you’ve probably heard of her) is following in Madonna’s (I mean Esther’s) footsteps. She has become interested in the mysticism and beliefs of Kabbalah, a strange blend of ancient Hebrew and Far Eastern beliefs. The pop princess is looking to have a Kabbalist wedding, disturbing her Baptist parents. Anyway, Kabbalah is very, very interesting, and I’m very surprised that it’s as popular as it is (which is honestly, not that much, but when Madonna—I mean Esther—and other popular icons get involved, it raises public awareness a little bit).
By the way, I’ve started blogging on my other website, so check that out once in a while. I plan on using that space for entries related to music, technology, and my other interests, but without any personal entries there.
What good is a personal website if it can’t be personal? Seriously.
This has always kind of confounded me a little bit. Because any high profile work I’ve had has come through fbk and you know I put some really fucked up shit on there.
Okay, yes, I don’t work in the field that you work in and I can see how maybe some people might be offended BUT I don’t think you hold much close to your heart that could be construed as truly offensive.
Oh but (kind of tangentially related) I am thinking about finishing up my degree in education (special education no less) so maybe I’ll feel differently if I do that. BUT mostly, I want to say here that you need to feel free to be the you that’s the most you possible. Yeah.
Go go, you!
Hey, Maggie! My other website (firstnamelastname.com) was where I used to keep this weblog/journal, back in the day. I decided to move it onto fiveandtwenty.com and go incognito because coworkers were reading, and I had the need to complain about my job. Now that I have students, I don’t want them getting involved in the specific details of my life. So… blogging will return to my other site, but it will be much different than what’s posted here.
Yes, I remember when you moved from yourname.com to here. And I also remember why. It seems your much more content these days, though.
And also, I guess looking back at it I’m kinda full of shit myself because there are things that don’t get posted to fbk that I do post on livejournal.
But have you seen this
