There are few things in this world more gratifying than having an event you planned come off well. My company hosted its annual St. Patrick’s Day reception last night. It’s more of a party my boss is responsible for rather than the company, since he has been doing it for eleven years, and he “brought” the party to the company when he was hired here.
Also, I think I just like being in charge of things and the responsibility that ensues.
Perhaps you should become an event planner. That’s fun stuff.
