Yes, this is considered correct grammar:
He, where I had had “had had,” had had “had had had;” “had had had” had had “had had” written next to it as a correction.
And therefore by extension, this is also allowable: He, where I had had “had had ‘had had,’ had had ‘had had had;’ ‘had had had’ had had ‘had had,'” had had something else entirely. Weird.
