For those who are lonely this Valetine’s Day, soon it will be easier to get a friendly feline companion, maybe even designed to your specifications.

I dunno, they SAY the kitten looks “cute as a button” but she looks pretty scary to me.
[not nearly as cute as MY kitten. ahem.]
I don’t know about you all on the east coast, but it’s actually getting rather difficult to get a cat out here in California. No kittens are allowed to be adopted from shelters until they’ve been fixed (and in many cases, you can’t specify your own vet to do the fixing), and it’s difficult even then, without being grilled somewhat insultingly by shelter employees on your cat-care abilities.
Sorry for the rant. We’ve just been going through that recently.
Well I’m not sure what the circumstances are here in Jersey. Once I’m back in my own place, I might look into getting a cat. I miss having one.
I had to give up Buffy (my cat) when I left for college. She was awesome and thankfully, a good friend took her in. She is now in kitty heaven…lived a good life. Buffy not my friend, lol.
By the way, good job on the new layout of the site! I like it a lot! 🙂
One of my cats is named Rupert (after Rupert Giles) and the other one we named Anya. Shortly after we named Anya, the character of Anya showed up on Buffy. 🙂
I love that name. 🙂
My new kittens will be ready to come home soon (they’re being fixed this week!), and I can’t wait.
Kira, I love YOUR name, and one of my cats almost ended up with it… in the end, though, I settled on Loki and Freya (from Norse mythology).
