Including employment. You, readers, may have noticed that I haven’t been entirely happy in my current situation at work. Now the only difference is there is no situation, and that’s okay.
I will still be getting paid through the month of December, and those checks as well as ones from a temp job should give me some extra money when I could really use it. I knew when I was moving up here to northern New Jersey that it would be temporary, and I did forsee moving somewhere else by the end of the year, so basically everything is right on schedule. I’ll probably be moving to somewhere in southern New Jersey at the end of the month.
WHAT?!? What the heck happened?
details???
I had a meeting with my boss on Friday, the subject came up, I was honest, he was honest, and we found a solution. What else is there to say?
AH! Ah ah ah. That SUCKS. Sucks sucks sucks. So much it has rendered me incoherent.
While I agree that it sucks, I think in the end, it may be for the best. And at least you got to leave on mostly friendly terms, which is important. I think everything will be okay…
so when do you stop working there? or have you already?
*did* you leave on friendly terms? I don’t know if I would have been able to remain friendly under the circumstances….at least not with some people. can I go kick her ass? I could take her. I could… 🙂
I’ve stopped working there as of yesterday. As far as I can tell, I left on friendly terms. I *need* to have left on friendly terms because at some point (soon, hopefully) I will have a job that will require dealing with them in some capacity, unless I go with one of their “competitors.”
Well, considering that it was a “mutual break-up”, I’d say you left on friendly enough terms.
