While I was on the way home, I stopped at a rest stop on the Turnpike. I saw a bunch of teenagers and thought they looked very familiar. I noticed that several of them were wearing orange visors. When one of them turned, sure enough, they were from The Cadets. 🙂
I thought the concert was great, though. I was REALLY impressed with the drum and bugle corps, and very impressed with the concert band (considering the small amount of rehearsal they had, too). Hopefully the recording turned out how you wanted it…
the rhythm section was good, yeah…but the thing that made me kinda mad was that the director guy played that one song. It was like, “oh, you suck, so I’ll play this one”. The blonde 2nd chair trumpet player and I couldn’t believe it…
I REALLY loved Sue though, she is the best director I’ve ever worked with.
well, all the FSK kids loved it, so good job. 🙂
We got home at 3am though, and had a parade at noon…that was OUR only headache.
…That and the jazz band. yipes.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. The rhythm section in the All-Star Jazz Band was quite impressive.
I concur about the rhythm section.

That last comment was actually Darren, and the recording sounds great.
Oh…I guess you’ve been having to use my computer, too. 🙂
