Here’s a shot of me presenting a trophy to my alma mater, H—town High School, this past November. These drum major uniforms weren’t around while I went to school there.

that hat looks 5 sizes too big!!!
pretty funny 🙂
So the theme this year was “Tribute to the Q-Tip”?
Spike, what’s with the sailor jacket that your wearing next to the over sized q-tip. Why do those girls look like hookers from the 20’s?? What was the award for that you presented them?? Also, was it a 1st place finish?
It seems like it’s pretty much a universal truth that HHS Band Front always end up looking like hookers…
Are those the band front members or the drum majors? Either way, yes, they do look like hookers from the 20’s. But I’ll have to disagree with M-D on his other statement. In fact, we always used to say, during my senior year, anyway, that while all the other flag twirlers were wearing almost nothing, ours had long, heavy skirts, and high collared jackets. We called them the Marching Nuns.
heh. I *told* you it made you look like a sailor!! And you always think I’m the only one….
Pshaw. I like the sailor coat. Spike, hanging out on a wharf, maybe smoking a clove cigarette, engaging random passersby to ask them if they’d pay to watch him drown… AGGGLLLLL.
That’s exactly the impression I was hoping for.
Wow…he even spelled it right. 🙂
uhmm….ok, those look *really* weird…I’m officially scared of HHS band now…and I thought the band frony uniforms they had when i was a senior were weird….i’d hate to see what they have some of the choirs wearing now…..
