I’ve added some new pictures

I’ve added some new pictures from this past weekend. I really do have quite a number of photographs online now. These new ones are from a party for Bryan which was held because he has decided to leave to Seattle. To see the photos, just click on the “pictures” button on the right.

Tomorrow evening I’m going with

Tomorrow evening I’m going with my office into the city* to a restaurant called Sparks for dinner. Is anyone familiar with the place? I suppose steak would be the thing to order.

For the uninitiated, “the city” is also known as New York City, the Big Apple, etc.

I haven’t seen my apartment

I haven’t seen my apartment much lately. I am told it misses me.

Yesterday morning I went to the dealership to fix the flat tire. I brought it in, told them the problem, and went up to the waiting room. As it turned out, they couldn’t fix the flat one — they needed to put an entirely new tire on. They said it would run me about $100. That’s not too bad at all, I thought.

A while later, they called me back down because the car was ready. I went to pay, and my bill was $11.73. So I said something to the cashier about that, noticing I wasn’t billed for the tire. I guess maybe I should have kept my mouth shut.

There was something I noticed

There was something I noticed while driving home from New Jersey Turnpike mile marker 80.3 tonight. By changing a tire, specifically by replacing a regular sized tire with a smaller one, you change the entire harmony of your car. If you listen closely while driving, there is music that is made by the different parts of the car moving together as well as the wheels upon the road. By changing a tire, everything sounded different. If you learn how to listen, there can be music everywhere. I’m tired now. Good night.

Argh. So, on the way

Argh. So, on the way home from work (where I left at 11:30 pm earlier tonight — videos) I ended up getting a flat tire on the turnpike. Of course, the resourceful guy that I am, I have no tools, so I waited around. It took less than five minutes for a police car to show up (they’re everywhere…) and only about fifteen minutes for the service person to show up. Apparently AAA has no power to service on the turnpike. So now I’m driving around with a “doughnut” tire on the front driver’s side. I’ll have to take it in tomorrow morning…

It’s always an adventure.

So I’ve seen two movies

So I’ve seen two movies lately, Unbreakable and Dungeons and Dragons. Since I’m not the kind to write reviews, I’ll just rate the movies on my new “Go See It” scale, from zero to ten. Unbreakable: 8, Dungeons and Dragons: 5.

Finally! The answer to my

Finally! The answer to my question. I received this email today:

hi there from greece. this will sound strange, but, what the heck, i’m gonna
say it.

i was doing a search for ‘greek weblogs’ on google and found your website
and more specifically this post where you’re wondering what the greek word ‘tsontes’ mean. Though the post is two months old and nobody cares about it anymore, I’m going to answer on that one and tell you that ‘tsontes’ doesn’t actually mean ‘sex’, but you’re very close. The term ‘tsontes’ refers to cheap porn magazines.
