The band Phish is finally

The band Phish is finally taking a break after touring almost continuously for 17 years. I can’t imagine doing anything almost continuously for 17 years, but I guess that’s just me. I was just talking about them tonight, describing how before the concert I saw several years ago, people were tailgating in the parking lots with their tanks of nitrous oxide (aka. laughing gas). Apparently there was a story in the news (which I missed but later found) about how some cops went “under cover” in a chat room to learn the drug slang of the Phish heads. I recounted how, at the show I attended, the police walked up to everyone with tanks and forced them to release the content directly into the air. (The common mehod for inhaling the nitrus oxide was to fill a balloon with it and inhale the gas from the balloon.)

Thing I need to do

Thing I need to do before I go to work tomorrow include: washing my laundry, going to the bank, getting a haircut (maybe, though probably not), cleaning a little, and working on more websites. I wish there was more time to get things done in the fall.

Tonight I played a little pool with Darren, Jen, Stacey and Bryan — the usual crowd. It was nice to get out and be social.

Though I knew her only

Though I knew her only marginally in high school — that is to say I knew her name — it’s always fun to see people from my high school who now have their own websites, and in some cases, their own websites with their own domain name based on their full given name (such as bryanjbusch.com). Presenting Linda Mateos.

Here’s another tip from my

Here’s another tip from my Vast Base of Knowledge and Experiences. If you own a black car, and it’s a bit dirty on the outside, don’t wait until the sun is about to set to wash the car. Chances are, you’ll miss large spots, and when you drive to work the next morning, you will have a clean car except for a couple of dirty and dusty spots which stand out very well. Too well.
