Hm. I think it’s time
Hm. I think it’s time for me to purchase a cell phone.
Not right now, obviously.
I have to remember this.
I have to remember this. No more can I go to bed with a headache, without taking Tylenol, thinking I will be fine in the morning. I never am. I woke up early and I was positively sick. I proceeded to take some Tylenol and hang around since my stomach felt like it was going to explode one way or the other. I contacted work and warned them of my situation. Eventually I got back in bed and woke up an hour or so later.
Hopefully my waking up sick had nothing to do with the dream I had. I dreamed I was shopping for Tylenol in a big supermarket, and I ran into Bryan, Zannah and TheJames.
By 5:00 today, I was
By 5:00 today, I was done with most of the major work I needed to do in the office. Did I leave? No. They decided to buy a new computer desk, printer table, and file drawer from Staples. So they went next door to pick the furniture up and brought it back to the office. So I ended up staying for another four hours putting the stuff together with the other four people who were there. One good thing did come of this — free pizza. Free food. You can’t beat that with a stick.
But once again, the drive home was a pain. It was going pretty well because I decided to go further on the turnpike to avoid the mess on Route 1. So I got off at exit 8A, and still hit the construction on Route 1. Grrr.
Yes, another night of not
Yes, another night of not being able to sleep. Gotta love it. Here are some notes. I’ve activated the links to the about me, my music, and webcam sections, as you can see to your right (and backwards). My plan for my pictures section is to scan in a whole bunch, put them into categories, and make each category an album by itself. That could take a while though, so hang in there. There are four (count ’em) days till my half-birthday, if such things matter. Only six months left until the completion of my first quarter century on this planet.
Today’s (abridged) horoscope from my
Today’s (abridged) horoscope from my yahoo:
I remember what the third
I remember what the third thing was. Well not really, since this didn’t happen until after I wrote that last entry. As I was leaving work today, I got stuck in the elevator. As it was going down from the third floor to the exit (yes, normally I would use the stairs but the stairways are discontinuous, so instead of walking around the whole building, I just take the elevator), It got stuck right before the second floor. The inside door to the elevator decded to open, while the outsde door didn’t. So I rang the alarm bell several times. Someone asked, “Is anyone in there?” and I responded, “yes.” He assured me, “hang on, we’ll go get the police.”
Which is odd, considering our offices are in a police department building.
So I’m waiting for a few minutes, thinking maybe they had to get the police from the next town over, which would even still be only one block away. I look at the outside door and think that maybe I could open it with sheer strength.
The door opens, and I crawl out onto the second floor.
I walk downstairs two flights to the exit and at the bottom I see some people trying to get the elevator open. What they’re doing is having no effect. I tell them it’s stuck on the second floor. One guy says, “Yeah, there’s a guy stuck inside.” I say to him, “Yeah, that’s me.”
Someone must have something against
Someone must have something against me.
- The credit card transfer (form a card with a high APR to a card with a low APR) still has not gone through and the payment due date is tomorrow.
- My last paycheck which I deposited Saturday still hasn’t cleared, and I need that money.
- There was a third thing, but I just can’t remember it right now. If you know what I was thinking, e-mail me.
Labor day weekend. This will
Labor day weekend. This will be the last weekend I have to myself; I’ll be working at least one day every weekend until the middle of November. So what did I do this weekend?
Friday night was dinner and a movie (The Whole Nine Yards) at Stacey’s and Jen’s. Saturday I took a trip to Alissa‘s house (even though she was away) to pick up a mattress and a bookcase. Unfortunately I ended up leaving the shelves to the bookcase at her house. Saturday evening I went to dinner at my father’s friend Anna’s house up in Maplewood for a while, and arrived at Stacey’s in time for half of a movie (Dick).
Rebecca was in town so she hung out with us as well.
Sunday evening I was invited to dinner at Ali’s family’s house. I had some fun playing with Ali’s niece and nephew, and watching Star Wars. Eventually, Darren and I headed back to my apartment and watched The Hudsucker Proxy.
I’m just realizing this now, but I saw three and a half movies this weekend without paying for tickets or getting the bottom of my shoes sticky. Not bad. I am also just realizing now that I need a cell phone and I have to figure out exactly how I’m going to afford one.
So, if you buy me
So, if you buy me something from my wishlist, I will buy you something from yours…
