So, if you’re going to be in Manhattan on Monday, stop by the Neil Simon theater on 52nd and Broadway. [DELETED] I’m not a great fan of the show, but it should be an interesting event. [DELETED] Yeah, pretty predictable, I know.

Maybe instead of looking at athletes, they will look at musicians? Then again, maybe that’s not such a good idea.

In the mid eighties, I was a big fan of the Mets. And yeah, I was a little excited when they had a chance of going to the World Series this past year. But in the 80’s, Darryl Strawberry went through that whole drug thing. And apparently, he’s now back at it. Why are there so few good role models in sports?

Who will our kids look to now? John Rocker? I hope not.

Don’t get me wrong… my brother is a nice guy…

So at this point, and for several months now, I’ve been sharing an apartment with my father and my brother. This is my situation until my brother leaves for California to go to school or something, my father moves to Jersey City which is closer to his office in Manhattan, and I move five minutes or so down the road to West Windsor.

My brother finds it necessary, as if he’s preparing for life in the Sunny State of California, to turn the thermostat all the way up to 75 degrees in the house, and leave the fan constantly on. First of all 75 degrees is way too high for the winter. It’s just a waste of energy and money. Second of all, with the fan constantly on, even when the ambient temperature reached 75, air still blows through the vents, not affecting the temperature, so it’s wasting energy and money. Third of all, it’s just uncomfortable.

I can’t wait to move out.

Yes, of course I’ve talked to him about this. Sigh. It’s just not worth any further effort..

Isn’t it great how people who drive SUVs feel they don’t
need to be aware of what’s going around them? It must be so nice to drive a vehicle and not
worry about other cars. I mean, the SUV is just so big that other cars will just have to
get out of its way. So why should the driver care about other traffic? I want to be an SUV driver
and have the freedom to drive carelessly, because, hey, in an SUV, it doesn’t matter.
